Close to the centre, hip and relaxed
On a small island between the Indische Buurt and the Eastern Docks Area you will find a unique mixture of old industrial buildings and houseboats. At the head of this island is the biggest wooden windmill of the Netherlands and the famous Beer brewery het IJ.

About 15 minutes cycling and you are in the buzzing centre of Amsterdam with al its museums, restaurants, theatres, shops, markets, festivals and more.
Within walking distance is the Indische Buurt, a trendy and upcoming neighbourhood. Here you will find a mishmash of cultures, mirrored in the different restaurants, bars and shops. At the other side is the Eastern Docks Area with its special architecture. Within sight is the mill next to Brewery het IJ. Also close by is the famous Dapper Market, the Artis Zoo, cinema and bar Studio K and the Flevopark. In the park, in the old bucking building is a small distillery, nicely located on the waterfront. During summertime the park also has a big open air swimming pool.
Above Water is close to the IJsselmeer with the old fishing villages. You can make bicycle tours through the polder and ride to the picturesque villages nearby area such as Durgerdam or Broek in Waterland.
Amsterdam Central Station
Amsterdam's Central Train Station lies at about four km. Citybus 22
(stop Veelaan) offers a quick connection in less than 15 minutes. Train station Amsterdam Muiderpoort
is also close by.
Public Transport: There are several bus and tram stops within walking distance that will take you to all sides of the city, for example tram stop Javaplein or Flevopark. More info at www.9292.nl
Parking: At the Zeeburgerpad there is usually plenty parking opportunity, at € 17,20 / day. A cheaper alternative is the P+R Zeeburg. Here you can park a car for € 1 - 8 / 24 hrs. Depending on the time of day I can pick you up here.
